Kristen and Ryan {Married}: Waukesha Wedding Photographer

Kristen’s a friend of my wife and I, Alicia went to St Norbert with her and they are both student teaching together this semester! Their wedding was a blast, I had a lot of fun with the ceremony especially. Kristen and Ryan are super stoked to be together and I am really excited for them! Congratulations you guys!

Simply the greatest commercial

It may seem kinda cheesy, but this is why we photographers do what we do. I am not just making or taking pictures, I’m protecting your memories.

Green Bay Photographer: The Great Storm of 2010

Hey all! I’ve been in a total rut lately, no bookings, no shoots, struggling with depression and trying to figure things out, doubting myself and my abilities. It’s been a tough couple of weeks. I’ve needed some motivation, and some pictures to make me realize I should still be doing this. We had a hell of a storm today, rain like I have seriously never seen before, and I’ve been in plenty of storms, couple of tornadoes included. I got completely soaked standing on a sidewalk as cars passed by washing walls of water over me. It was awesome. I don’t know if I’m totally back or out of the storm yet, but it’s a start. Any way, here’s pictures.

Two Rivers Photographer: Relay for Life

My wife’s family has had a long  battle with cancer. About 10 years ago, her cousin Dana died of cancer, they were very close, like sisters and it was a big blow to everyone in the family.

Her death prompted Gary (my father-in-law) to start a team to participate in the annual Relay for Life in Two Rivers. He did so after promising her that “As long as I have breath in me, you will be at this relay”. Since I have been dating Alicia we have participated along with the team “Dana’s Hikers for Hope”.

This year the whole thing hit even closer to home. Alicia’s dad, Gary was diagnosed with a rare form of carcninoid cancer. It was pretty slow moving but has recently become more aggressive. This year’s relay was understandably more emotional, but it was also really encouraging. Gary was named one of the three Tri-Chairs of the relay, and gave a speech during the main ceremony. He’s been really inspiring in the whole thing, and a lot of people from the family came to support.

And without further adieu, photos. (If it seems hard to read, the word is HOPE)
