Frankie and Max: Green Bay Dog Photographer

Snow pictures! These are really difficult (= I have pretty much decided that if I do puppy photos in the winter I have to get a studio so we don’t have to be outside so long, they enjoy diggin in the snow too much! We had a fun time though. One of my favorite customers bought her friends a session for their anniversary (what a swell idea!) so I had to keep these secret for a bit, but now I can share! Hooray!

Aurora and Athena: Green bay Cat Photographer

I’m back! Hooray, the winter is (mostly) over, and I can finally do more shoots. I have been friends with Sarah Shiner for a long time, pretty much all through my college experience, so it was a pleasure to see her again, and photograph her awesome cats! Now, I have honestly never been that much of a cat person, but since I started photographing them, cats like Aurora and Athena are making me realize how awesome they are (= It was a great shoot, and I got to capture a little of Sarah’s stylings in the apartment! I love to show how pets’ personalities relate to their owners (= THanks for stopping by, enjoy the photos!

Green Bay Pet Photographer: Bay Area Humane Society!

Hey all,
today was my first day helping out at the Bay Area Humane Society! Barb LaPlante has been working with her daughter Katie over the past few years to help take awesome photos for the animals at the shelter, especially cats and dogs. They get new animals in every day, so there’s a lot of work to do.

There are a lot of things I hope to accomplish with this business, and helping homeless animals is definitely one of them! People often say that the pictures they see influence which animals they choose, and Barb has been making sure that happens over the past couple years. Her daughter is going to college soon in the future, and I am going to be working with her/backing her up with taking these photos, and hopefully soon (if I find a good assistant) will be doing photos when Barb cannot. So many of these animals need good homes, and I am totally thrilled to be a part of seeing that that happens.

I didn’t get a lot of awesome shots today, mainly because a lot of these animals are a bit scared and adjusting to new people, and I didn’t want to distract them and keep Barb from getting the photos, but I did snap a few, and I wanted to share them with you!

This guy is Shep. Super friendly and playful!

Last, but not least is Marley. I know, that name makes me a little weepy, but she is awesome! She has hip dysplasia, so she needs a little extra care, but she’s got tons of love to give!

She was a bit more interested in digging snow than posing (=

If you need a new friend, there are even a whole lot more that need families! Thanks for looking (=

Green Bay Pet Photographer: Snow Puppy

I plan on taking more of these, but I’ve been working so many days it’s been tough. I just had to get a couple up here, cuz my lil’ girl is so darn cute!
There’s nothing quite like a dog with snow on her nose!
On another note, we finally found out what she is!!!
When my wife and I adopted Riley, she was 8 weeks, and listed as a labrador retriever. About a year later she maxed
out at about 40lbs, and we continued our wondering of what she was mixed with. Don’t get me wrong, she’s the perfect size for us! We just wanted to know.
Well, I was online looking at some doggy stationery to send handmade notes to my wonderful clients (= and found a silhouette of a smooth fox terrier and I just knew. So I looked at pictures and did some research and am about 97.3% sure that our Ri-ri is a labrador/smooth fox terrier. There may be something else in there, but those are the big ones! Hooray! We love her. Anyways, with no more delays, Snow Puppy!
Oh, and one with no snow, but was just too cute not to post (=
